Gestalt Therapy, Counselling & Coaching

for individuals, couples and groups

The demands of everyday life and the professional world have steadily increased in recent years. This raises important questions: How can we respond to these demands and changes? What do we need in order to navigate them? And where are our limits?

  • What is changing in my life?
  • What demands does this place on me?
  • What are my wishes and aspirations?
  • What is my vision for the future?
  • What obstacles may be standing in my way?
  • What resources and strengths do I have available to me?

I am happy to support you in the following areas, among others:

  • My career – exploring my current situation, future prospects and possible next steps
  • Where are my limits, and what is my potential? – understanding my boundaries and discovering new possibilities
  • Finding greater satisfaction and self-acceptance in everyday life – Not always, but more often.”
  • Clarity about my own needs and the first steps towards meeting them –“I want to…”
  • “I’ve had enough.” – recognising my limits and learning to express them in a healthy and appropriate way
  • “What I’ve always wanted to do.” – exploring inner obstacles, fears and those “tired animals” that sometimes hold us back
  • “What do I do now?” – navigating doubts, difficult decisions and what comes next when things become serious
  • “A closed book?” – couples counselling around friendship, relationships, intimacy and love

The humanistic approach is recognised as a relevant factor in effectiveness:

"Mindfulness exercises and a focus on the here and now require the involvement and experience of the body. Focusing on emotions and emotion regulation lead to the perception of autonomous physical processes and non-verbal behaviour. Overall, cognitive behavioural therapy is currently becoming increasingly ‘humanistic’ and emphasising aspects of immediate experience. Experience and being in the world imply that one is aware of the body with and through which one ‘experiences’."

About me

My path to Gestalt therapy and psychosocial counselling was a long one. After training as a machinist and then working in a steel mill, I decided to change things in my life and, at the age of 24, I obtained my high school certificate. I then studied political science, economics and Italian in Duisburg and Bologna, graduating with a degree in social sciences.

In my professional activities as a project manager and in various management positions, I have been continuously involved in counselling and learning since 1992, working as a consultant and speaker. I am continuously expanding my qualifications in this field through ongoing training and furthereducation.

My consultation work is deeply influenced by the Gestalt approach, an educational and therapeutic method for personality development devised

by German psychoanalysts Fritz and Lore Perls and American intellectual Paul

Goodmann, which is a central branch of the humanistic school of psychotherapy.
